Keller, a Roseville homeowner residing at 1440 West Belmont Lane. Mr.
Keller has concerns regarding the expansion of HarMar Mall including the possible nonconforming
use of the site and probable inadequate parking at HarMar MalL It is my understanding that the City
Council will be meeting at their work session on February 22, 2000 (a Tuesday given the President's
day holiday) to discuss the topic of lot coverage.
In my earlier correspondence of January 24, 2000 to Mayor Kysylyczyn, we raised concerns
regarding the calculation of lot coverage made by staff We also raised issues regarding the problem
of inadequate parking at the HarMar Mall. We specifically request some additional work on the
issues outlined below in preparation for the upcoming work session to aid future council action on
this matter.
(1) The lot area calculation should conform to the calculation method adopted by the
Roseville City Council on January 24, 2000 and as set forth in the Roseville City Zoning Code.
Under the Roseville City Zoning Code (R.CC) lot coverage for a shopping center district is limited.
"Not more than twenty five percent (25%) of the lot area shall be occupied by buildings."
