Methods for Proiect Implementation <br />What methods will be used for site `preparation, plant materials handling, inspection, and storage, <br />planting and maintenance? How will methods respond to any special site conditions (such as <br />presence of compacted soil, poor drainage, existing pavement on site, underground and overhead <br />utilities) ? � _ � <br />Specification will be written to meet Mn/DOT's minimum standards identified in the "Mn/DOT <br />Community Roadside Landscaping Partnership Program; 1996 Training School" manual. <br />Special site conditions will be identified by the project coordinator prior to planting and proper <br />corrections will be made using approved methods. <br />b. Plantinq Stock and Guarantee <br />How will plant stock be obtained and their quality assured? (All plant materials must be certified stock <br />obtained frnm a nursery stock dealer or grower certified by the Minnesota Department of Agricu/ture <br />and should meet ANSI standards for nursery stock.) <br />City staff will specify and assure that all trees meet the above recommended specifications.
