Roseville's 14 � Under Girls <br />Fastpitch Team Going to Nationals <br />Roseville's 14 8� under girls fastpitch softball team has qualified for Nationals in Midland <br />Texas the week of August 7th This is the first time in Roseville's history that a girls <br />fastpitch team has advanced this far! ! <br />The team had an unbelievable season, They started the season by winning the Mounds <br />View Madness Tournament They posted a 16 - 2 season, winning the Tri-County league. <br />They went to the playoffs, and from there advanced to the State Tournament They went <br />on to place 4th in State, which has qualified them for Nationals. Approximately SO teams <br />throughout the United States have been invited to the week long tournam ent in Texas. <br />The team had all the ingredients it needed to be successful. They had strong pitching and <br />significantly out hit the competition They also utili$ed their team speed and most <br />importantly, they were e�tremely versatile in the field <br />Team members included: <br />Amy Beggin <br />Olivia Graham <br />Sarah Huss <br />Christine Huppertz <br />Kelly King <br />Katie Kohn <br />Katie Kretsch <br />Sarah Manke <br />Julie Schmid <br />Amanda Se�ton <br />Allie Topp <br />Courtney Zenk <br />They were coached by Mark Goheen, Dick Manke, Jodi Manke and Joe Smith <br />Anyone wishing to donate monies to help the team advance to the Nationals should make <br />their tax deductible check payable to RGFSA and send it to: <br />2238 Nancy Place <br />Roseville, MNS5113 <br />The girls will be doing a fundraising car wash at the Super America Station on the corner <br />of County Road B and Lexington on Friday, August 4th from 11 to 4 p.m..
