��C���� <br />Request for Council Action <br />Date:o9/as/oo <br />Item Number: G-1 <br />Department Approval Manager Approval Agenda Section <br />l�i�� `�� Recognitions <br />�.J <br />Item Description: <br />Minnesota Chapter of the American Planning Association (MnAPA) <br />2000 Distinguished Leadership Award <br />Issued to The City of Roseville Community Development Director, <br />Dennis Welsch <br />at the MnAPA Annual Conference on September 21, 2000 <br />MnAPA issues the Distinguished Leadership Award annually to a planning professional, citizen planner or <br />citizen activist in Minnesota who has made an outstanding contribution to the filed of planning and to his or her <br />community. <br />Community development professionals throughout Minnesota nominated Dennis Welsch based upon his <br />abilities to work in a team, mentor, educate, supervise and direct the planning function. The nomination <br />materials also highlighted Mr. Welsch's professional history, commitment and service to local government and <br />the MnAPA.
