REQUEST FOR CITY COUNCIL ACTION <br />DATE: 1 0/02/00 <br />Department ApprovaL Manager Approved: Agenda Section: <br />; Communication/ <br />� Public Comment <br />Item Description: Follow-up Response on Land Use Code Enforcement Issues <br />1.0 BACKGROUND <br />1.1 At the City Council meeting of September 25, 2000 questions and concerns were raised <br />relative to certain land use enforcement issues relating to the clean up of a property at <br />1887 Rice Street. <br />12 The City Attorney and staff have reviewed the background on those cases mentioned at <br />the September 25`� meeting and have prepared the attached information for the Council's <br />information. <br />1.3 The department written procedures originate from the requirement of the Code and are <br />reviewed with the Council in the Spring of each year. <br />1.4 An activity report on the property located at 1887 Rice Street was prepared for your <br />review. <br />1.5 The staff has found no land use complaints located on the City's web page, nor has it <br />been an operating procedure to publish this information.
