Identify the number of soccer frelds available within your jurisdiction to serve youth <br />soccer players. <br />The City of Roseville has access to seven fields for soccer use. The City facilities are <br />exclusively for Roseville recreation programs and open use. T'he SchoolDistrict <br />facilities are prioritized by the School District first and Roseville Recreation second. <br />Roseville Parks and Recreation Facilities <br />. Location map <br />Refer to attachment A. <br />Site plan of the proposed soccer fnci/itv <br />Refer to attachment B. <br />Narrative description of the project <br />The City of Roseville is requesting grant funding to develop two full-sized youth <br />soccer fields at Rosebrook Park Rosebrook is aneighborhood park of abouteight <br />acres. It currently has a multipurpose field for t«�o softball fields and soccer/football, <br />two tennis courts, a degrading play structure and warming shelter, an ice rink and its <br />most noted for its wading pool. There are approsimately 45 parking stall in die hvo <br />lots that serve this park There is also a direct connection to the County Road C <br />pathway that links to the Roseville and regional trail systems. <br />The City is proposing to redevelop the softball fields replacing them with two full- <br />sized soccer fields �i�idi drainage systems and irrigation. In addition flie City will <br />continue to redevelop Rosebrook Park by replacing die play structure, constructing a <br />loop trail, espanding die park lots and other minor park improvements. The <br />proposed improvements could start in the fall of 200 1 widi public access to the <br />soccer fields in d�e late summer of 2002. <br />4. Project Budget <br />Tlie funding is being requested to complete tlte soccer fields and expand die parking. <br />The estimated cost for diese improvements is $185,000 <br />
