Department Approval <br />��. .�: �� <br />Item Description: <br />���� <br />J�, <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date: 1 /04/ 10 <br />Item No.: 7.d <br />City Manager Approval <br />� / <br />Adopt a Resolution for Designation of Official Bank Signatories for 2010 <br />BACKGROUND <br />State Statute requires the City to designate officials with the authority to sign checks for payment of goods <br />and services. This includes checks processed through the City's payroll and accounts payable systems. <br />Traditionally, the Mayor, City Manager, and Finance Director have been designated as authorized <br />individuals. <br />POLICY OBJECTIVE <br />The designation of official bank signatories is required under State Statute. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACTS <br />Not applicable. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff Recommends that Mayor Craig Klausing, City Manager Bill Malinen, and Finance Director Chris <br />Miller be designated as official signatories for 2010. <br />REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br />Adopt the attached resolution designating the Mayor, City Manager, and Finance Director as official <br />signatories for 2010. <br />Prepared by: Chris Miller, Finance Director <br />Attachments: A: Resolution designating the Mayor, City Manager, and Finance Director as official signatories for 2010 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
