<br />The Council also directed the Director of Public workS to <br />determine the estimated cost of the improvement, and wheth~r <br />such improvement should best be made as proposed or in connection <br />with some other improvement. The preliminary report and cost <br />estimate have been submitted and considered by the Council and <br />are hereby approved and directed to be placed on fil~ in the <br />office of the Village Manager. The improvement proposed to <br />be made in the general manner set forth in the report is <br />designated as Street Dnprovement No. P-68-25. <br /> <br />2. The Council shall meet at the Village Council Chambers, <br />2701 North Lexington Avenue, on September 9, 1968, at 7:30 <br />o'clock p.m. for the purpose of holding a pUblic hearing on <br />the proposed improvement under and pursuant to the provisions of <br />Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, and the manager is <br />hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, <br />place and purpose of that meeting to be published twice in <br />the official newspaper, Suburban Sun, which publications shall <br />be a week apart, and the second publication shall be not less <br />than three days before the date of the hearing. Pursuant to <br />M.S. 429.031, Subdivision 1, notice shall also be mailed to the <br />owner of each parcel within the area proposed to be assessed <br />not less than 10 days prior to such hearing. <br /> <br />3.
