EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 21st day of <br />December, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Johnson; Roe; Ihlan; Pust; and Klausing and the <br />following were absent: none <br />Councilmember Roe introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10771 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR RICE STREET/ <br />TH 36 BRIDGE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County, Minnesota Department of Transportation, the City of Roseville <br />and surrounding communities are working on a solution for improvements to the Rice <br />Street/Highway 36 interchange to address existing and future safety and operational deficiencies; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Rice Street between County Road B and County Road B-2 <br />by one or more of the following installations: bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter, <br />pathway, bridge construction, signal reconstruction, storm sewer, and necessary appurtenances, <br />and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant <br />to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.011 to 429.111: <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota <br />that the proposed improvements are referred to the City Engineer for study and she is instructed <br />to report to the Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council in a preliminary way as <br />to whether they should best be made as proposed, and the estimated cost of the improvements as <br />recommended. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Johnson; Roe; <br />Ihlan; Pust; and Klausing and the following voted against the same: none. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
