<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD AUGUST 19, 1968. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the Village Council of Roseville, Minnesota was <br />duly called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on <br />August 19, 1968, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Moll, Councilmen Curley, <br />Linebarger, Grauel and Shields <br />and the following members were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Member Curley <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following Resolution <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3074 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTICIPATION BY THE VILLAGE <br />OF ROSEVILLE IN THE CLASS ACTION COMMENCED BY THE STATE OF <br />MINNESOTA AGAINST UNITED STATES STEEL CORPORATION, ET AL. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Village of Roseville has been notified <br />that it is a member of a class of claimants in an action commenced <br />by the State of Minnesota to recover damages from United States <br />Steel Corporation, Paper, Calmenson & Co., St. Paul Foundry & <br />Manufacturing Co., (now the Maxson Corporation), St. Paul <br />Structural Steel Company, Crown Iron Works Company and The <br />Hustad Company, resulting from an alleged conspiracy to allocate <br />sales of structural steel and to refrain from competition, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the determination has been made the Village <br />of Roseville has purchased steel directly or indirectly from <br />the corporations named during the period specified in the <br />complaint, to-wit:, approximately January I, 1949, to approximately <br />February 10, 1964, and are thereby entitled to assert a claim <br />to recover damages sustained as a result of such conspiracy: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, AS FOLLOWS: <br />
