(V i ol ati on of Ci ty Code Secti on <br />407.02.D). <br />• A status update, i ncl udi ng pi ctures, wi I I be provi ded at the publ i c heari ng. <br />POLICY OBJECTIVE <br />The City goal s withi n the Comprehensive PI an are to protect and i mprove property val ues (Goal 3, 4, <br />and 5; page 6 and, Secti on 3) and to adhere to performance standards whi ch protect the i ntegri ty of the <br />housi ng uni ts and the nei ghborhood (Pol i cy 6, page 8, Secti on 3). <br />FI NANCIAL I M PACTS <br />Citv Abatement: <br />A n abatement woul d encompass the fol I owi ng: <br />• Removal of outsi de storage of househol d i tems, j unk and debri s: <br />o A pprox i matel y-$400.00 <br />Total: Approximately - $400.00 <br />I n the short term, costs of the abatement wi I I be pai d out of the H RA budg�, whi ch has al I ocated <br />$100,000 for abatement activities. The property owner wi I I then be bi I led for actual and admi nistrative <br />costs. I f charges are not pai d, staff i s to recover costs as speci f i ed i n Secti on 407.07B .
