<br />WHEREAS, the City Council intended and directed that the <br /> <br /> <br />citizens of Roseville be fully informed of the opportunity given by <br /> <br /> <br />the Roseville Lutheran Congregation and the proposed land exchange <br /> <br /> <br />prior to taking any action. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, public notices were published and public hearings <br /> <br />were scheduled and held by the Roseville Planning Commission and <br /> <br /> <br />the Roseville City Council pertaining to the land exchange. <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, following said public hearings and following receipt <br /> <br /> <br />of public input, the City Council has determined that it would be <br /> <br /> <br />in the best interests of the City to exchange that part of Bruce <br /> <br />Russell Park described above plus other consideration for the <br /> <br /> <br />Lexington Site. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council did at a special meeting of the City <br /> <br /> <br />Council on July 2, 1993, direct the Mayor and City Manager to sign <br /> <br />the necessary documents to carry out the land exchange and direct <br /> <br />that the necessary funds be paid to obtain the Lexington Site. <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of this resolution is to recite in <br /> <br /> <br />writing the action taken. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br /> <br />of Roseville as follows: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and City Manager are directed to sign a deed of <br /> <br />conveyance and such other documents as are necessary to transfer <br /> <br />that portion of Bruce Russell Park legally described as follows, <br /> <br /> <br />to-wit: <br /> <br />See Exhibit A attached hereto <br /> <br />to the Roseville Lutheran Congregation, a Minnesota corporation. <br />
