<br />directed to pUblish and mail notice that the Council will meet to <br />consider the proposed assessment on October 7, 1968. at the <br />Village Hall in the Village of Roseville, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. <br />The notice shall state the date, time and place of the meeting, <br />the general nature of said improvement, the area proposed to be <br />assessed, that the proposed assessment roll is on file with <br />the Manager, and that written or oral objections thereto by any <br />property owner will be considered. It shall be published in the <br />official newspaper of the Village at least once, and shall be <br />mailed to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment <br />roll, not less than two weeks prior to the date of said meeting. <br />For the purpose of such mailed notice, owners of said parcelS <br />shall be those shown as such as of September 23, 1968, on <br />the records of the county Treasurer. Every property owner whose <br />name does not appear Qn such records (other than owners of <br />property which is tax exempt or is taxed on a gross earnings <br />basis) shall be deemed to have waived such mailed notice unless <br />he has requested in writing that the County Treasurer include his <br />name on the records for this purpose. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br /> <br />duly seconded by Councilman Curley, and upon vote being taken <br /> <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
