<br />RESOLUTION #311 <br /> <br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting of Village Council, Village of Roseville, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota, held Tuesday, December 1, 1959. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the Village Council of <br />the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the Village Hall in <br />said Village on Tuesday, the 1st day of December, 1959, at 8:00 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: All, and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Trustee Brennan introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: <br /> <br />RESJLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT <br />FOR BIDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Village Council on August 7, <br />1959, the Village Engineers, Banister Engineering Co., have prepared plans and <br />specifications for Project No. 4 of Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 3 and have <br />presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto, and <br />made a part hereof, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Rose <br />Tribune, the official paper, and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement <br />for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and <br />specifications. The advertisement shall be published as required by law, <br />shall specify the work to be done, shall call for bids upon the basis of a <br />casb payment for such work, shall state that bids wi11be opened and considered <br />by the Council at 11:)0 A.M. on Tuesday, December 29, 1959, in the Council <br />Chambers oftheVi11age Hall, that no bids will be considered unless sealed <br />and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit or certified check <br />payable to the Clerk for ten percent (10%) of the amount of such bid and that <br />the advertisement shall state a completion date of July 1, 1960. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Trustee Shields, and upon vote being taken, the following voted in favor <br />of: All, and the follOwing voted against: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNBSOTA )SS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY ) <br /> <br />I, the undersigned, being the duly ql1alified and acting Clerk of the Village <br />of Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota, hereby certify that the attached and <br />foregoing is a full, true, and correct copy of the minutes of the meeting of <br />
