EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, <br />Minnesota, on Monday, the 8`t' day of February, 2010, at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Johnson; Ihlan; Roe; and Klausing and the following were <br />absent: Pust <br />Councilperson Ihlan introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10785 <br />RECEIVE THE FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR THE RICE STREET/ TH 36 BRIDGE <br />RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT AND ORDER PUBLIC HEARING FOR IMPROVEMENT <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted December 21, 2009, a report has been <br />prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement of the Rice Street/ TH 36 Bridge <br />Reconstruction Project and, <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, cost <br />effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other <br />improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a description of the <br />methodology used to calculate individual assessments for affected parcels. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, <br />MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. The City Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report and the <br />assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $28,700,000. <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 8~' day of March, 2010, in the <br />council chambers of the city hall at 6:00 p.m. and the City Manager shall give mailed and published <br />notice of such hearing and improvement as required bylaw. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilperson Roe and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Johnson; Ihlan; Roe; and Klausing <br />and the following voted against the same: none <br />
