The <br />requested vehicles are the Ford Crown Victorias. I asked Acting Chief Mathwig to prepare <br />the attached information to help explain the rationale for these vehicles, including the <br />vall:e of "recycling" parts and equipment from current vehicles into new vehicles. I hope <br />this. helps provide a better understanding of the request, particularly in light of the <br />recent approval to acquire a Dodge Charger.
