November 6, 2044 <br />Craig Klausing, Mayar <br />Amy I�.lan, Counci�person-at-large <br />Jeff Johnson, Councilperson-at-large <br />Tammy Pust, Counciiperson-at-large <br />Dar� Roe, Councilperson-at-large <br />cityecst�r�ciiC�ci.r€�sev�4lee��n.��s <br />Re: sevver expense reimbursement <br />Dear City Cauncil afficials, <br />Margaret at Roseville City Hall suggested I address my concerns to the council as <br />a whole in the hope of gaining a r�;sponse �ro� the tnem�er best suited to help with my <br />speci�c situation. <br />In the past two years, I've contacted the council, along with tlae Rarnsey County <br />Water District and the Attorr�ey Generai's off'ice, both of which suggested t�is wauld be <br />best dea.lt with on a city level, several times abaut the above referenced issue, (copy of <br />March 29, 20041etter follows), and while the sewer was finally insulated tlais past <br />s�mer, I'm sti11 loaking ta recoup at least so�� af my out of pocket expenc�itua•es. <br />During those two years the sewer froze, I had addifiana� heavy expenses �o bear, <br />i.e. health-reIated (surgery co-pays}; horne repair costs (central air conditioning had to be <br />replaced and � cannot be without it} added to the sewer costs (t�ere were others}, the <br />combination of which took my entire savings and pushed me to m� out �ny credit cards <br />so I�ould buy food, pay mortgage, property t�es, etc� Now �at the cred�t cards are <br />gone, and having a fixed income, Pve opted to �ay my mortgage, heat, and eiectricity, <br />�nd use what little is left for food, prescription co-pays (6/month; $10 -$50 each) snaw <br />rernoval a.nd gas, and am now in arrears on m� wa�er bill, praperty and ineome �axes, on <br />which interest accrues dai[y. <br />Is there not someone who can help me with this? I'd like to set up a face-to-face <br />meeting at the cauncil-�ember's earliest convenience to t�y and get this resolved; I have <br />coxnplete dacumentation of all tra.�sactions, contacts, and conversaiions.
