EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 22nd day of February 2010 at 6:00 <br />p.m. <br />The following Members were present: Johnson; Pust; Roe; and Klausing; <br />and the following Members were absent: Ihlan. <br />Council Member Klausing introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10787 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING CONCRETE RECYCLING AT THE DALE STREET <br />RESERVOIR AS AN INTERIM USE IN ACCORDANCE WITH §1013.09 OF THE <br />ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR SAINT PAUL REGIONAL WATER SERVICES <br />(PF10-001) <br />WHEREAS, Saint Paul Regional Water Services owns the Dale Street Reservoir <br />property, adjacent to 1901 Alta Vista Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, the subject property is legally described as: <br />Section 14 Township 29 Range 23 the S 652.5 ft of E 700 ft of SW 1/4 of NE 1/4 & S 652.5 ft <br />of W 400 ft of SE 1/4 of NE 1/4 in Sec 14 Tn 29 Rn 23 <br />PIN: 14-29-23-13-0003 <br />WHEREAS, the property owner seeks to allow the temporary operation of concreting <br />crushing equipment; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />proposed INTERIM USE on February 3, 2010, voting 5-0 to recommend approval of the use <br />based on the comments and findings of the staff report prepared for said public hearing; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council has determined that approval of the proposed <br />INTERIM USE will not result in adverse effects on the public health, safety, and general welfare, <br />and that it will not impose additional costs on the public if it is necessary for the public to take <br />the property in the future; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to APPROVE <br />the temporary concrete recycling at the Dale Street Reservoir as an INTERIM USE in accordance <br />with Section § 1013.09 of the Roseville City Code, subject to the following conditions: <br />a. The project site shall be limited to the general area indicated on the site plan <br />reviewed with this application as Attachment C; <br />b. Materials to be recycled shall be limited to the rubble generated by the demolition <br />of the Dale Street Reservoir facility; <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
