ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />2010 CONTRACT B: PAVEMENT <br />MANAGEMENT PROJECT <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA <br />RECEIPT AND OPENING OF <br />PROPOSALS: Sealed proposals for the <br />work described below will be received at <br />the .office of the City Engineer, City of <br />Roseville, 2660 Civic Center Drive, <br />Roseville, Minnesota, until 10:00 a.m.. <br />Friday. March 19. 2010 at which time <br />the bids will be opened and publicly <br />read. All bids shall be made on the <br />proposal form provided for that purpose. <br />DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work <br />includes the construction of <br />approximately: <br />5,400 CY Common Excavation <br />4,000 LF Concrete curb & gutter <br />removal and <br />replacement (random) <br />8,500 TON Bituminous wear course <br />6,800 TON Bituminous base course <br />23,500 SY Bituminous milling <br />28,500 SY Bituminous street <br />reclamation <br />16,600 LF 4" epoxy pavement <br />markings <br />350 LF 8" sanitary sewer <br />replacement <br />500 LF W a t e r m a i n <br />Replacement <br />1,000 SY Sod with 6" topsoil <br />Together with numerous related items of <br />work, all in accordance with Plans and <br />Specrfications. <br />COMPLETION OF WORK: All work <br />under the Contract must be substantially <br />complete by July 30, 2010. Final <br />completion must be accomplished by <br />August 20, 2010. <br />PLANHOLDERS LIST, ADDENDUMS <br />AND BID TABULATIONS: The <br />planholders fist, addendums and bid <br />tabulation wilt be available on-line at: <br />www ritygfr4seville com/2010Contract6 <br />Any addendums will be e-mailed or <br />faxed to all planholders. <br />TO OBTAIN BID DOCUMENTS: <br />Complete digital project bidding <br />documents are available at <br />www questcdn com. No <br />refunds will be provided. Bids will only <br />be accepted from Contractors who <br />purchase Bidding Documents as <br />noted above. <br />BID SECURITY: A certified check or <br />proposal bond in the amount of not less <br />than 10%, percent of the total amount <br />bid, drawn in favor of the City of <br />Roseville shall accompany each bid. <br />OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: The <br />City Council reserves the right to reject <br />any and all bids, to waive irregularities <br />and informalities therein and the right to <br />award the contract in the best interests <br />of the City. <br />William J.
