RHRA_ Consent for fees (1-16-07) - Page 1 of 1 <br />REQUEST FOR HRA ACTION <br />Date: 01-16-07 <br />Item No: 6.b. <br />Staff Approval: Agenda Section: <br /> CB Consent Items Item Description: Accept Professional Fees for October-December 2006 (HF0041) <br />1.0 Requested Action <br /> <br />Accept, by consent, the professional fees to Ba rsness Consulting for executive director services <br />and legal services to Krass Monroe provided from October– December 2006 per contract <br />requirements. <br /> <br />2.0 Legal Fees <br /> <br />2.1 A contract between the HRA and the law fi rm of Krass Monroe was approved for 2006. <br />The contract is reviewed and approved annually. <br /> <br />2.2 The Contract for Legal Services is on an hourly basis for time spent on HRA business. <br />The fee for service provided from October-December 2006 is a total of $9,479.75 per the <br />attached invoices and are broken down as follows: <br /> <br /> Review of Har Mar Financing Request – $7,521.25 charged against multi-family program <br /> Review of HIA for Westwood Village I – $1,553.75 charged against multi-family program <br /> General HRA Board Issues - $404.75 charged against general administration <br /> <br />3.0 Executive Director Fees <br /> <br />3.1 A contract between the HRA and Barsness Cons ulting Services for HRA Executive Director <br />services was approved for 2006. The contract is reviewed and approved on an annual basis. <br /> <br />3.2 The Contract for Executive Director Services is on an hourly basis for time spent on <br />HRA business. The fee for service provided from October-December of 2006 is a total of <br />$10,795 per the attached invoices and are broken down as follows: <br /> <br /> General HRA Executive Director Activities - $10582.50 charged to general administration <br /> Roseville Home & Garden Fair Administration – $212.50 charged against home & garden <br />fair revenues <br /> <br />4.0 Staff Recommended Action <br /> <br />Staff is recommending the approval, by consent, of the payment of legal fees in the amount of <br />$9,479.75 and executive director fees in the amount of $10,795 for services provided from <br />October – December 2006. <br />Attached: invoices Prepared by: Cathy Bennett (651-792-7015)
