REQUEST FOR HRA DISCUSSION <br /> <br />Date: April 17, 2007 <br />Item No: 9.a. <br />Staff Approval: JS Agenda Section: <br /> Action Item Description: Status of HRA Staffing <br /> <br />1.0 Background <br /> <br />1.1 On March 20, 2007, the Roseville HRA declined to renew an annual contract for Cathy <br />Bennett to continue serving as its Executive Director. <br /> <br />1.2 At that meeting the HRA approved a service contract with the City of Roseville to secure <br />the services of the Community Development Senior Office Assistant as the part-time <br />Administrative Assistant to the HRA. <br /> <br />1.3 The HRA then gave City staff direction to pursue the actions necessary to designate the <br />Community Development Director as its HRA and to create a part-time Housing Program <br />Coordinator position. <br /> <br />2.0 Discussion <br /> <br />2.1 The April 16 Roseville City Council study session agenda contemplates a discussion of <br />the Council related to steps the City would be required to take in order to fulfill the <br />HRA’s staffing desires.
