Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the Council of the Village of Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota Held May 24, 1960 If J~;) Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting and public hearing of the Villa~e Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the Council Chambers in said Village, at 2701 North Lexington, on Tuesday, the 24th day of May, 1960, at 8:00 P.M. Village The following members were present: Mayor r,edarholm, Carlson, Flanagan, Keene and Shields and the following were absent: None The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the consideration of a proposed street improvement in the Village. The Clerk produced an affidavit showing publication of a notice appearing on the improvement three weeks in the official newspaper of the Village, the last publication being on the 19th day of May, 1960, which affidavit was examined and ordered placed on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners and interested individuals present either for or against said proposed improvement. The following appeared in favor of said improvement: Peter S. Popovich, Attorney at Law representing Ind. Scnool District #621 S. A. 01men, Chairman of the Board, Ind. School District #621 Joseph Moss of Ellerbe & Co., Engineers and Architects for the school District Hr. and }1rs. Donald Gribble ~1r. and Y1I's. Lloyd Hall The following appeared in objection: None The following appe~red and asked for additional information: None After hearing and considering all questions and the arguments of proponents and all objections of the property owners appearing,r:rember Carlson moved the adoption of the following resolution: A RESJLUTION ORDERING STREET IMPRrnTEMENT NO.1, AND DIRECTING PREPARATION OF FINAL PLANS WHEREAS, a resolution of the Village Council adopted the 26th day of April, 1960, fixed a date for a hearing on the proposed street improvement No. 1 generally in the following described area; A sixty foot (60') strip whose center line commences at a point thirty-three feet (33') south of the North Section line of the Northeast Quarter (NE~) of the Northwest Quarter (W#~) Sec. 4, Town 29, Range 23 West, said cent~r line being property line Lot 12, Lake Johanna Homes, according to the recorded plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for Ram~ey County, Ninnesota, to a point Seven Hundred fifteen feet (7l~t) south of the North line of said Lot 12, said point being the center point of a sixty-five foot (65') radius forming a turnaround and cu1dasac of said proposed roadway pursuant to a petition of affected property owners.
