<br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the <br />Council of the Village of Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota <br />Held May 24, 1960 If J~;) <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting and public hearing <br />of the Villa~e Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in <br />the Council Chambers in said Village, at 2701 North Lexington, on Tuesday, the <br />24th day of May, 1960, at 8:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Village <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor r,edarholm, Carlson, Flanagan, Keene <br />and Shields <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the consideration of a <br />proposed street improvement in the Village. The Clerk produced an affidavit <br />showing publication of a notice appearing on the improvement three weeks in the <br />official newspaper of the Village, the last publication being on the 19th day <br />of May, 1960, which affidavit was examined and ordered placed on file. The <br />Mayor then called upon all property owners and interested individuals present <br />either for or against said proposed improvement. <br /> <br />The following appeared in favor of said improvement: <br /> <br />Peter S. Popovich, Attorney at Law representing Ind. Scnool District #621 <br />S. A. 01men, Chairman of the Board, Ind. School District #621 <br />Joseph Moss of Ellerbe & Co., Engineers and Architects for the school District <br />Hr. and }1rs. Donald Gribble <br />~1r. and Y1I's. Lloyd Hall <br /> <br />The following appeared in objection: None <br /> <br />The following appe~red and asked for additional information: None <br /> <br />After hearing and considering all questions and the arguments of proponents <br />and all objections of the property owners appearing,r:rember Carlson moved the <br />adoption of the following resolution: <br /> <br />A RESJLUTION ORDERING STREET IMPRrnTEMENT NO.1, AND DIRECTING PREPARATION <br />OF FINAL PLANS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the Village Council adopted the 26th day of April, <br />1960, fixed a date for a hearing on the proposed street improvement No. 1 <br />generally in the following described area; <br /> <br />A sixty foot (60') strip whose center line commences at a point <br />thirty-three feet (33') south of the North Section line of the <br />Northeast Quarter (NE~) of the Northwest Quarter (W#~) Sec. 4, <br />Town 29, Range 23 West, said cent~r line being property line Lot 12, <br />Lake Johanna Homes, according to the recorded plat thereof on file <br />and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for <br />Ram~ey County, Ninnesota, to a point Seven Hundred fifteen feet <br />(7l~t) south of the North line of said Lot 12, said point being the <br />center point of a sixty-five foot (65') radius forming a turnaround <br />and cu1dasac of said proposed roadway <br /> <br />pursuant to a petition of affected property owners. <br />
