Roseville HRA Staff Quarterly Report
January - March 2008
RHRA 1st Quarter Highlights:
The first quarter of 2008 was spent mostly working on implementing the Roseville
HRA Strategic Plan. RHRA staff began reviewing the RHRA's existing programs and
came forth with recommendations to the RHRA for consideration. Substantial
discussion revolved around the combining of two owner occupied rehab programs to
more effectively meet the needs of the community. From these discussions, it is
expected that changes to the two loan programs will be implemented in the 2nd
Quarter.
The Home & Garden fair was held on February 23"d and was again a success with
nearly 1,000 people attending to visit 64 vendors and attend 24 seminars. Kara Hoier
did a commendable job in organizing and managing the event. Good job Kara! Work on
the 2009 Home and Garden Fair will start this summer and the committee is looking
at ways to include even more "green" themed events and exhibitors.
The 1St Quarter saw the hiring of Jeanne Kelsey in the newly created Housing
Program Coordinator position. Jeanne started work on March 17t" and has jumped
right into RHRA work. Welcome aboard Jeanne!
The activity of the Housing Resource Center is summarized in the attached quarterly
report.
Patrick Trudgeon
Roseville HRA Executive Director
