�� <br />SEH <br />To �rovide necessary sta f f su��ort to make sure that the goals <br />and objectives are carried out on a daily basis. <br />• The Community Development Director of the City of Roseville shall <br />serve as the Executive Director of the Roseville HRA. <br />• The Housing Coordinator, along with necessary staff and/or <br />consultants, will implement day to day tasks for all aspects of the <br />HRA. <br />• Actively promote education, growth, and advancement of <br />employees, board members and community members. <br />• Quarterly Progress Reports on all funding sources, grant programs <br />and the overall operations of the Roseville HRA will be provided to <br />the HRA board. <br />Zoning and building �ractices shall be develo�ed which �ro�erly <br />maintain the existing housing stock within the City o f Roseville. <br />• The HRA will work with the City Council to develop code <br />enforcement policies aimed at preventing nuisance properties from <br />negatively impacting surrounding properties. <br />The HRA will work with Community Development staff to enhance <br />code enforcement efforts within the Housing Maintenance Section <br />of the City Code. <br />Code en forcement will continue to be a central �art in <br />�reserving housing within the City o f Roseville. <br />The HRA will support regular and periodic building inspections as <br />well as the rental registration program which will increase the <br />likelihood that the housing stock and rental property will be well <br />maintained. <br />• Develop a proactive process for code enforcement that is supported <br />by the City Council. <br />The HRA will develo� sustainable solutions to housing through <br />green building initiatives. <br />• Develop standards for supporting green building techniques, <br />including the use of alternative building materials and recycling of <br />building materials (wherever feasible) in new construction and <br />rehabilitation. <br />• Leverage technological advances in the areas of energy and water <br />conservation, natural drainage systems and wastewater treatment <br />and incorporate them into the design of new and renovated housing <br />units. <br />• Promote transit-oriented development by conducting (and funding) <br />planning at key transit nodes. <br />• Work with local utility companies to establish and expand programs <br />to encourage improvements to properties that increase energy <br />efficiency and conservation of resources. <br />roseville hra strategic plan � page 2 <br />
