Staff Approval: PT REQUEST FOR HRA ACTION Date: 1-20-09 Item No: 6.b. Agenda Section: Consent Item Description: Approval of annual contract with the City of Roseville for the RHRA Executive Director for 2009 and payment for 2008. (HF0080) 1.0 Background The Roseville Community Development Director serves as the RHRA Executive Director. The RHRA Executive Director provides day-to-day management of the HRA actions, programs, budget and activities with guidance from the RHRA Board. It has been determined that 15% percent of the Community Development Director's time is spent on RHRA matters. Accordingly, the 2009 RHRA budget has allocated $17,981.00 to pay for the RHRA Executive Director's services to the City Community Development Fund. In addition, the RHRA Finance Committee recently met and discussed the reimbursement to the City for the services of the Community Development Director as HRA Executive Director for 2008. The Finance Committee recommends that the RHRA fund reimburse the City for the services of the Community Development Director in the amount of $10,000. 2.0 Suggested HRA Action By motion, approve the service contract with the City of Roseville for providing the Community Development Director to serve as the RHRA Executive Director for $17,981.00 prorated quarterly for 2009. By motion, approve the transfer of $10,000 from the RHRA fund to the Roseville Community Development Fund for services of the RHRA Executive Director in 2008.
