($106,500) <br />✓ Fiscal/Overhead Fee reflects 5% fee of the HRA General Expenditures for Professional <br />Services. ($5,325) <br />✓ Education/Training/Conferences reflect opportunities for Board members to also go to <br />conferences or attending workshops that would benefit the RHRA. ($1,725) <br />✓ Other Services and Charges reflect the amount that the RHRA pays for phone landline, <br />supplies and meeting materials. ($2,000) <br />In 2010, the following programs will be new: <br />✓ Green Plan Book was budgeted for based upon goal of HRA to increase green improvements <br />in properties. The amount budgeted would not cover all of the costs associated with creating <br />the book so RHRA staff is working on finding communities and resources to partner with the <br />RHRA for this plan book ($25,000). <br />✓ Energy Efficiency Pilot program and the Work Force Housing program was budget for based <br />upon board members recommendation from the work session. ($25,000) for each program. <br />✓ The RHRA has discussed having a more aggressive marketing campaign for the City (i.e. <br />Why Roseville). The RHRA has put an additional amount in for the new campaign <br />($40,000) <br />✓ Down Payment Work Force Housing Assistance— A loan program designed to provide down <br />payment assistance with matching business for the purchase of employee homes. The <br />concept being to live and work in the same community. ($25,000) <br />✓ Market Study — Costs for professional services to conduct a market study of Roseville's <br />Single Family Homes. ($17,000) <br />Staff has prepared 2010 budgeted amounts for each program. Staff has also included the <br />updated Strategic Plan based upon July 8th, 2009 work plan session. <br />Suggested RHRA Action: <br />Discuss and review proposed 2010 RHRA Budget and consider adoption of a resolution adopting <br />the 2010 RHRA levy. <br />Prepared by: Jeanne Kelsey, Housing Program Coordinator <br />Attachments: A.
