Attachment A <br />CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Ciiy Priorities <br />Based on the �ndings of our analysis, the following is a priarity summary for the City of Rose- <br />ville. 1'riorities are identi#ied in sequential order, beginning with the tasklproduct type deemed <br />most important. <br />1. Develop an affordable active adult senior housing community with plans for a fu� <br />ture second phase of market rate active adult housing. <br />2.. Develop an af�ordable family rental housing cam.munity. <br />3. De�elop market rate general occupancy rental housing positioned as an upscale <br />rental commuttity. <br />4. Increase avai�ability of Section 8 vouchers among existing rental commu�ities in <br />the City. <br />5. Provide support for rehabilitation and replacement of existing single-family and <br />multifamily housing. Educate hameowners and rental property owners about <br />a�ailable taan pragrams. <br />6. Develop owner-accupied {cooperative preferred) ac#ive adult senior housing. <br />7. Develop genera[ occupancy for-sale townhomes designed �'or entry-level buyers <br />and older adultlsenior households. <br />8. Reassess the n�ed for ac�ditional service-enhanced senior nousing products. <br />Should housing need for ser�ice-enhanced housing be sustained, we recommend <br />development of additional senior hqusing. <br />MAXFIELD RES�ARCH INC. 97 <br />
