<br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the <br />Village Council of the Village of Roseville <br />-- Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council <br />of the Village of Roseville, }linnesota, was duly held at the Village Hall in <br />said Village on Tuesday, June 7, 1960, at 2:00 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Cedarholm, Flanagan, Keene, Shields <br />and the following were absent: Carlson <br /> <br />Trustee Shields then introduced and moved ~le adoption of the following resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 355 <br /> <br />RE':::OLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOn PFOJECT NO.7 <br /> <br />T;THFREAS rmrsuant to advertisement for bids for Sanitary Sei-Ter Improvement No.3, <br />Project No. 7 according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office <br />of the Clerk of said Village, said bids were received on May 26, 1960, at <br />11:30 A.M., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were <br />received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />F. Horettini Construction Co. <br />Lametti & Sons, Inc. <br />Orfei & Sons, Inc. <br /> <br />$597,R08.75 <br />554,207.00 <br />550,047.15 <br /> <br />w~EREAS it appears that Orfei & Sons, of st. Paul, Minn., is the lowest responsible <br />bidder, at the tabulated price of $550,047.15, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT PESOVTED by the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, <br />IJfinnesota: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />with Orfei & Sons for $550,047.15 in the name of the Village of Ros~Tille for <br />Sanitary Sewer Improvement No.3, Project No.7, according to the plans and <br />specifications thereof heretofore appr~Ted by the Village Council and on file in <br />the office of the Village Clerk. <br /> <br />2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all <br />bidders the deposits made with their bids except the denosits of the successful <br />bidder and the- next lowest bidder shall be ret~.ined until a contract has been <br />siened. <br /> <br />The motion l~a.s seconded by l1ember Keene and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br />follo1;rtng voted in favor thereof: All and the following ,roted against: None <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />ST ATE OF HPlNESOTA ) SS <br />COU\1TY 017 RAMSEY ) <br /> <br />L, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting ~Tillage Clerk <br />of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, do hereb certify that I have carefully <br />
