Update on Housing Improvement Area – Westwood Village I <br />2 <br />Executive Director Trudgeon advised that the City Council had approved creation of the HIA, <br />3 <br />in an atmosphere of strong emotion on both sides. Mr. Trudgeon advised that the City’s <br />4 <br />Finance Department was not processing the paperwork. <br />5 <br /> <br />6 <br />Mr. Trudgeon noted that future discussions would be needed for developing policies for <br />7 <br />criteria as a City and as the HRA, if additional HIA’s were indicated. <br />8 <br /> <br />9 <br />d. Housing Multi-Family Round Table Discussion <br />10 <br />Chair Maschka noted the upcoming round table discussion with applicable parties and agencies <br />11 <br />to determine if there was a problem with multi-family housing; what that problem was, if any; <br />12 <br />and options available. Chair Maschka advised that, following this initial meeting, he would <br />13 <br />report back to the HRA for further discussion and direction. <br />14 <br /> <br />15 <br />e. Reschedule next HRA meeting to March 24, 2009 <br />16 <br />Executive Director Trudgeon noted potential schedule conflicts, due to school spring breaks, <br />17 <br />thth <br />and suggested rescheduling the March HRA meeting from March 17 to either March 24 or <br />18 <br />st <br />March 31. <br />19 <br /> <br />20 <br />Consensus was to reschedule to March 31, 2009; with staff to advise if there were additional <br />21 <br />conflicts on that date. <br />22 <br /> <br />23 <br />f. Board & Staff Reports <br />24 <br />Housing Coordinator Jeanne Kelsey distributed and annual Roseville Atlas for members as a <br />25 <br />reference and resource for monthly meetings. Ms. Kelsey asked that any leftover copies from <br />26 <br />previous printings be returned to staff to distribute to the School District to assist with their <br />27 <br />transportation routing. <br />28 <br /> <br />29 <br />12.
