Excepf as otherwise pravided, the CITY shall not be called upan to assume any liabi[ity for direct payment of ar�y salaries, wages, fips, or other compensation to any COUNTY personnel performing Contract Services, and ihe C�UNTY f��reby assumes said liabilities. 7: Except as otherwise specitied, the CfTY shalf not be liable for compensa�ion or indemnity of any COUNTY employee for any injury or sickness arising aut of their employment, and the C4UNTY hereby agrees to hoEd harmless the CITY against any such claim. 8. The C1TY, its officials, and employees, shall not be deemed to assume any lia�ility for the intentional or negligent acts of the COUNTY or of any official or employee thereof,. and the COUNTY shafl hold the CiTY, its officials, and employees harmless from, and shall defend them against, any claim for damages arising out of the COUNTY's performance of Contract Servaces under this Agre�ment, subject to the limits af liability as set forth in Minn. Stat. Section 466.04. 9. Total biflings for the 2010 summer patrol ca�erage wiil not exceed $1,722.00. �'1. The CITY may increase the hours af co�erage at the $41.00 hourly rate by written amendment to this �greement, signed by both parties. 12. It is ur�derstood that prosecutions for violations of ordinances or state statu�es, together with the disposition of all fines collecf�d pursuar�t thereto, shall be in accordar�ce with state laws and local ordinances. 13. The Contract Services identifiied in this Agreement shall be in addition to existing water patrol coverage now provided by the Ramsey Caunty Sheriff's Office. 14. Either party may terminate this Agreement upon 15 (fift��n) days written notice to the other party at any time during the term of #his Agreement. Upon such termination, the Ramsey County Sheriff shall be paid for services acf�aaliy rendered under this Agreement un�il the date of termination.
