Election Date Fixed: The city general election shall be held on the first Tuesday after <br />the first Monday in November of each even numbered year, beginning with the 2006 <br />election. (Ord. 1264, 6-3-2002) <br />B. Primary Election Date: Whenever there are candidates for election to municipal <br />office in excess of two for the office of mayor or in excess of two for each office of <br />council member, then a municipal primary election shall be held for such office or <br />officeson ��,o �,.�� �r„o�a.,., .,��o,. ��,o �o „a ,�a,,,,a.,., ;,, cor�o,,,�.o,. rri,,,. �„ ��,o <br />the same date of the state �rimarv election in each even- <br />numbered vear. <br />27 1010.03: PERMITS: <br />28 <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />33 <br />34 <br />35 <br />36 <br />37 <br />38 <br />39 <br />40 <br />41 <br />42 <br />10. Political signs to the extent that the following criteria are met: <br />a. In years when a state general election is held, political signs may be posted from <br />�t� 46 davs before the primarv election until 10 days following the state general <br />election. Any such signs must be removed by those responsible for their being posted. <br />b. In years when no state general election is held, if there is a primary for any office, <br />political signs for all offices may be posted no more than 2ldays before the primary <br />election. When there is no primary for any office, such signs may be posted not more than <br />21 days before the general election. All such signs must be removed by those responsible for <br />their being posted within five days following the general election. Said political signs shall <br />not exceed 12 square feet gross area. <br />SECTION 2: Effective date. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and <br />publication. <br />Passed by the City Council of the City of Roseville this day of 2010. <br />
