Introductions/Roll Call <br />Commission members present: Jan Vanderwall, Dwayne Stenlund, and <br />Jim DeBenedet <br />Commission members absent: Ernie Willenbring <br />Staff present: Duane Schwartz, Public Works Director; Deb Bloom, City <br />Engineer; Jamie Radel, Community Development <br />Others present: Sheryl Fairbanks, Resident, 1957 Snelling Ave <br />2. Public Comments <br />None <br />3. Approval of May 27, 2008, Meeting Minutes <br />Member Vanderwall moved to approve the minutes of the May 27, 2008, <br />meeting of the Public Works, Environment and Transportation <br />Commission. Chair DeBenedet seconded, but he wanted a change on <br />Page 3: "Chair DeBenedet said to accommodate all other requirements <br />the plan has to do away with having medians" add "except at certain <br />intersections." <br />Ayes: 3 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried <br />4. Communication Items <br />June Joint City Council/PWETC Follow Up <br />Member Vanderwall brought up a comment he received from a resident <br />that it is important for the City Council to hear from commissions and <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
