Chair DeBenedet suggested requiring reliable high speed Internet <br />connections in all new developments and redevelopments and requiring <br />utilities to report outages to the city for review by PWETC. <br />Member Stenlund suggested steering new development towards <br />innovative design concepts and having the report state that clearly from <br />the beginning. <br />Chair DeBenedet suggested adding a separate statement to preserve and <br />protect Roseville's groundwater. <br />Member Stenlund suggested adding an inventory of city trees as a goal. <br />Member Stenlund again suggested explaining the reasons behind some of <br />these points so anyone reading the report would know why certain choices <br />are made. <br />Ms. Fairbanks asked if recycling could be expanded to include more <br />items, and also if the Spring Cleanup Day could be done two to three <br />times per year. Chair DeBenedet said they would put it on next month's <br />agenda. <br />Member Stenlund said the report doesn't mention low-speed electrics, the <br />use of which he thinks will be increasing in the near future. <br />Member Stenlund said he thought Roseville was missing the boat by not <br />using signage to show where the pathways are located. <br />Jamie Radel told the Commission that their comments would be included <br />in the draft and forwarded to the committee. <br />6.
