Hoisington Koegler Group Inc. ®®
I have a few questions for our staff and/or consultants.
Why does the Met Council want to see so much affordable housing in Roseville? Is it because of access to
service and retail jobs and access In transit?
Why are there so many now? Is it due to Hider, lower value apartments, older smaller houses or some
combination?
7. AccessibNity in our parks: Due to time constraints I think we moved along without any consensus.
The ADA is a federal dull rights law that has been In effect since 1992. The City Js required to comply with
all tts facilities. I recommend the parks element Include a more clear statement to the effect that the City
parks and open space will comply vrith the ADA by 2012 to Gre best of its ability and understanding of the
requirements.
16
