I would like to address these concerns. <br />The asphalt plant will be a brand new manufactured plant utilizing the latest emission <br />control technology available which allows the plant to meet and exceed air quality re- <br />quirements: <br />Air Emissions <br />The owner ar operator of an asphalt plant must calculate each year the actual <br />emission far the plant and ensure that all emissions remain less than or equal <br />to the thresholds listed in the table below. <br />HAP 5 Eons/year for a single HAP <br /> 12.5 tonslyear total for all HAPs <br />PM 50 tonslyear <br />PM1D 50 tans/year for an Attainment A <br /> 25 tonslyear for a Nonattainment <br />VOC 50 tonslyear <br />S02 50 tonslyear <br />NOx 50 tonslyear <br />Pb 0.5 tonslyear <br />Asphalt plants are required to submit an annual air emissions inventory that <br />address each of the criteria air pollutants listed above. This inventory report <br />is required to be submitted to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency by na <br />later than March 1St of the following year. Emissions calculated are for the <br />Affirmative Action Employer /Contractor Page 1 of 3 <br />
