Not in Roseville
• Snelling Avenue (TH 51)/Hoyt Avenue: concerns about the operation of this intersection
are related to the traffic-actuated signal system that sometimes will stop Snelling Avenue
traffic for a single vehicle on Hoyt Avenue
The RCL intends to bring the final report on the remaining 16 intersections before the Roseville
City Council for their endorsement. Although money is tight, the RCL Board believes that a
recognized and approved priority plan for "intersection improvements" is essential, if any progress
will ever be made. It should be noted that some intersection improvements would cost very little
money, and some can cost more than one million dollars to purchase necessary property, move
signal poles etc.
The Roseville Citizens League appreciates all of the citizen input and the cooperation of the
Ramsey County Public Works Department and others. If any citizen has suggestions on this or any
other topic, please let us know.
