Roseville Public Works, Environment and
Transportation Commission
Agenda Item
Date: March 24, 2009
Item No: 7
Item Description: Update on Twin Lakes Infrastructure Improvements and Stonn Water
Design
The Twin Lakes AUAR Subarea I Infrastructure Improvements consists of redeveloping an
existing industrial area into a revitalized business and residential district. The project will be
phased and build in conjunction with the development of adjacent private sites and as City
budget allows. The Public Improvement portion of the project involves constructing public
streets, sidewalks and utilities through the site area as well as intersection and freeway ramp
improvements along the edges of the site.
Since our last update we have made significant progress on two items. The first is the
streetscape concepts and the second is storm water managerent.
• On February 26, the City held a public open house for the streetscape concepts. Attached
are the streetscape boards that were presented at that meeting.
• The City will be responsible for meeting Rice Creek Watershed District storm water
management requirements for these public improvements. Attached is an overlay storm
water management layout, as well as two details that show the how we will incorporate
storm water management into our streetscape design.
Recommended Action:
Discussion of Twin Lakes Infrastructure Improvements
