RHRA_ Housing Redesign Program Application (8-15-06) - Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />3.2 The project (as attached) provides an enlarged and improved kitchen and bathroom and <br />new front entry. In addition, the home will include all new hardiplank lap siding. The <br />renovation costs for the project are expected to exceed $100,000. <br /> <br />3.3 The owner had started the demo and construction of the improvements prior to <br />submitting an application for design fees because she was unaware of the program until <br />after the permit was pulled. The total design fees are $2,800 of which the program <br />provides ½ of the fee or $1,400. Based upon this small amount, it is likely that the HRA <br />could fund additional design grant this year. Please refer to a letter from the homeowner <br />explaining her need for the funding after the project is already being constructed. <br /> <br />4.0 Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />By motion, approve the Housing Redesign Program Application for owners at 1137 Ryan Avenue in <br />Roseville based upon meeting the eligibility criteria for the program as presented. <br /> <br /> <br />Prepared by: Cathy Bennett (651-792-7015) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
