1384193v1 <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />IN AND FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Housing and <br />Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was <br />duly called and held at the City Hall on Tuesday, the 15 th day of August, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Commissioner introduced the following reso lution and moved its adoption <br /> <br />Resolution No. xx <br />A Resolution Adopting A Tax Levy in 2006 Collectible in 2007 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissi oners (the "Board") of the Housing and <br />Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Roseville, Minnesota (the "Authority"), as <br />follows: <br />Section 1. Recitals . <br />1.01. The Authority is authorized by Mi nnesota Statutes Section 469.033 to <br />adopt a levy on all taxabl e property within its ar ea of operation, which is <br />the City of Roseville, Minnesota (the “City”). <br />1.02. The Authority is authorized to use the amounts collected by the levy for <br />the purposes of Minnesota Stat utes Section 469.001 to 469.047 (the <br />“General Levy”). <br />Section 2. Findings <br />2.01. The Authority hereby finds th at it is necessary and in the best interest of <br />the City and the Authority to adop t the General Levy to provide funds <br />necessary to accomplish the goals of th e Authority and in furtherance of <br />its Housing Plan. <br />Section 3. Adoption of General Levy. <br />3.01. The following sums of money are here by levied for the current year, <br />collectible in 2007, upon the taxable prope rty of the City for the purposes <br />of the General Levy described in Section 1.02 above: <br /> Amount: <br /> <br />
