Proiect Manager and Princiaal Anne Carroll <br />Since 1985, Anne Carroll has provided consulting services to nonprofit, public, and private sector <br />organizations in the following arenas: <br />Public Involvement and Strategic Planning: Designing, developing, and delivering visioning, <br />decision -making, strategic planning, team -building, information -gathering, and group process <br />consulting services to address a variety of needs and challenges. <br />Training and Teaching: Designing, developing, and delivering workshops and training sessions; <br />graduate -level instruction in strategic planning, public involvement, and diversity in public <br />participation; technical writing and communications; and decision making. <br />Communications: Writing and editing educational and technical publications, papers and <br />presentations, research and policy reports, formal memoranda, manuals, studies, regulatory <br />documents, analyses, facility plans, style manuals, marketing materials, software manuals, <br />instruction books, and training materials. <br />Anne Carroll received a Master of Planning in public affairs from the Humphrey Institute at the <br />University of Minnesota in 1983, with a concentration in policy process and decision making. She <br />received a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and English from the same university in 1978 (Phi Beta <br />Kappa). Anne teaches public involvement and strategic planning to graduate students at the University <br />of Minnesota. She is a member of the St. Paul Board of Education, Minnesota League of Women Voters <br />Diversity Committee and St. Paul League of Women Voters, International Association for Public <br />Participation, E -Democracy.Org board, and Minnesota Thunder P.L.U.S. board (youth leadership and <br />community building). <br />Subconsultant Lvnn VanDervort <br />Lynn brings 15 years of nonprofit communication, public relations and marketing experience to public <br />involvement projects, as well as a passion for reaching out to community stakeholder groups. Her <br />communication background includes developing communication and marketing plans emphasizing <br />research skills in target market identitication, developing market brands, and synthesizing evaluation <br />data into new program development. She has worked with people from all walks of life from national <br />level media to neighborhood residents, and from faith communities to local youth. <br />Lynn completed a Master of Public Affairs degree at the University of Minnesota in 2005, and received <br />a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 1980. She has <br />an extensive background in community service in northeast Minnesota where she generated media <br />coverage for local events, and she is an active volunteer in the Mounds View School District. Recent <br />projects include the Shakopee Visioning Initiative as a subcontractor for Carroll, Franck & Associates, <br />and strategic planning and facilitation services for Missing Children Minnesota. <br />E -Inaut Consultant Tim Erickson (oational; not included in bnrtzet) <br />Tim has been managing online public policy discussions since 1998 when he founded Politalk.Org. For <br />over four years he was the forum manager for the St. Paul Issues Forum, a project of E -Democracy.Org. <br />Most recently, he has been hired by the Local e -Democracy National Project in the UK to launch and <br />support two pilot Issues Forums in Newham and Brighton & Hove.
