HOUSING & REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />IN AND FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />THIS IS AN AGREEMENT <br /> entered into the day of January, 2005 by and between <br />the Housing & Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Roseville, Minnesota, hereinafter <br />referred to as the HRA, and the City of Roseville, a governmental municipality organized and <br />existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota, hereinafter referred to as the City. <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS <br />, the HRA desires to contract with the City for the services an Executive <br />Director and other administrative support staff to support the undertakings of the HRA and such <br />other responsibilities such as recording and maintaining accurate records of the meetings of the <br />HRA and of all official actions taken by or on behalf of the HRA. <br />NOW THEREFORE <br />, the parties hereto do mutually agree as follows: <br />I.Scope of Services. The HRA Executive Director and support staff assigned by the <br />City to the HRA shall perform necessary and requested services relating to the actions and <br />activities of the HRA as outlined below: <br />A.Provide day-to-day management of the HRA actions and activities; <br />B.Oversee the planning, direction and implement HRA policies and plans; <br />C.Manage housing programs and existing obligations including the HRA budget; <br />D.Prepare agenda, minutes, reports, resolutions and other support information in <br />preparation of meetings of the HRA and attend all HRA Board meetings; <br />E.Prepare and monitor information affecting the HRA on the City web page; <br />F.Conduct research related to housing issues at the request of the HRA; <br />G.Conduct public relations activities for the housing programs and activities of the <br />HRA; <br />H.Present the HRA with an annual work plan outlining the coming years goals and <br />desired outcomes; <br />I.Prepare quarterly report of staff time spent on HRA business, and <br />J.Other actions requested by the HRA Board. <br /> This agreement shall be effective upon the approval of the HRA Board of <br />II. Term. <br />Directors and the City Council and shall continue for one calendar year subject to written <br />renewal by the parties for subsequent one year terms. <br />III. Compensation. The fees for the City services shall be paid as a transfer of funds <br />from the HRA to the City of Roseville Community Development Department prorated on a <br />monthly basis. The fee is based upon the total HRA budget for the designated Executive Director <br />and staff support to the HRA. The budget in 2005 is $45,000 estimated based upon 1/2 of the <br />1 <br /> <br />
