Suggested Community Participation: <br />March, April, May <br /> – <br />1.Community Participation to Include: <br />housingcommunity services <br />Problem Identification relating to and within <br />neighborhoods. Identification of Positive Neighborhood changes - What are <br />the issues they are seeing? What are their fears regarding changes they are <br />seeing? What are they seeing that they like? <br />Setting Achievable Community Goals <br />Review and Identification of Programs to Achieve the Goals <br />2.Methods of Dissemination of Information and Feedback: <br />Chair’s Meeting with Commissions, Council <br />Neighborhood Meetings (5-6 meetings) within Planning District Areas where <br />there is a concentration of Multi-Family Housing and/or single family rental <br />property. Appoint Liaisons. <br />Meeting with Multi-Family Property Owners <br />Meeting with Single Family Rental Property Owner, appoint liaisons. <br />May <br /> – Review of Community Feedback & Program Framework <br />June <br /> – Gain Support for a Specific Program Framework to Recommend to the City <br />Council for Adoption <br />If there are regulatory products, such as ordinances; public hearings by the Planning <br />Commission or the HRA may be necessary;– depending where in the City Code the <br />particular program framework is placed.
