Whereas <br />: Roseville is a community where people of different races, <br />religions, ages, lifestyles and occupations can live side by side, enjoying each other and <br />learning from each other; and <br />Whereas <br />: The Roseville Human Rights Commission invites all residents to <br />renew their commitment to making Roseville a community that welcomes diversity and <br />fosters a sense of security for all residents regardless of race, color, religion, sex, <br />handicap, familial status or national origin; and <br />Whereas <br />: The Housing and Redevelopment Authority, in and for the City of <br />Roseville, (RHRA) supports fair housing to all people regardless of race, color, religion, <br />sex, handicap, familial status or national origin and applies this belief to its housing <br />programs and services; <br />Now, Therefore Be It Resolved <br />, that the RHRA Board of Commissioners hereby <br />declare April 2005 to be Fair Housing Month in the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, <br />State of Minnesota, U.S.A <br />Ayes: 4 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried <br />5.Community/Citizen Comments – <br />comments from the public on items that are not otherwise on <br />the agenda. <br />None <br />6.Consent Agenda: <br />a.Approval of transfer of funds for financial and staff fee per approved contracts with the City <br />st <br />of Roseville for April 2005 and accept the 1 quarter attorney fess. (HF0026) <br />Motion: <br /> Member Kelsey moved, seconded by Member Hermes, to approve the transfer of funds <br />for financial services in the amount of $243 and staff services in the amount of $3,750 for April <br />st <br />2005 per the contract with the City of Roseville for HRA activities and accept 1 quarter attorney <br />fees. <br />Ayes: 4 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried <br />7.Action Items: <br />a.Consideration of 2005 Housing Redesign Program Application for design services in <br />conjunction with the improvements at 937 Orchard Lane in Roseville. <br />The owners of 937 Orchard Lane, Margaret & Greg Kroening submitted an application <br />for the program in early March for review. As part of the program review process an <br />eligibility criteria checklist was prepared. On March 15, 2004, the Roseville <br />Development Review Committee reviewed the application, eligibility criteria checklist <br />and renovation plan and concluded that the project pre-qualified for reimbursement of ½ <br />2 <br /> <br />
