<br />,-yor- f .T"'l~"'T 'T" 400 <br />"':-~VJ...J_ ..;...Lu~J lJV. <br /> <br /> <br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the <br />Village Council <br />Village of Roseville <br />County of Ramsey <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village <br />Council of the Village of Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota, was duly held in <br />the Village Hall at 2701 North Lexington Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota, on Wed- <br />nesday, the 9th day of November, 1960, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Cedar holm, Trustees Carslon, <br />Flanagan, Keene and Shields: and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Trustee Shields introduced the fol1ovring resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTIO~J RELATING TO A HEJ\RING ON REASSESSl1ENT MID SUPPLE11E1ITAL <br />ASSESSMENT FUR SANITARY SEHER IHFROVEMENT NO. !! <br /> <br />'WHEREAS a resolution was pl}ssed by the Village Council of the Village of <br />Roseville on the 13th day of October, 1959 directing the Village Clerk to pre- <br />pare a proposed assessment of the cost of Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 2 and <br /> <br />~mEREAS the Clerk has pr~Tiously notified the Council on October 13, 1959 <br />that such proposed assessment has been completed and ~iled in his office for pub- <br />lic inspection and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS on October 13, 1959 the Village Council set a date for a hearing <br />on the original assessment and in accordance with the Statute relating thereto <br />duly called and held said hearing on the 5th day of November, 1959, and sub- <br />sequent to said hearing, said Village Council adopted a resolution dated Novem- <br />ber 9, 1959 adopting said assessment and subsequent thereto on December 17, <br />1959, certified said assessment roll to the County Auditor of Ramsey County and <br /> <br />WHEREAS pursuant to 11. S. 429.071 the Village Council may make supnlementary <br />assessments to correct omissions, errors or mistakes in the original assessment and <br /> <br />t<VHEREAS a number of property owners affected by said original assessment have <br />raised inquiry regaTding possible errors, omissions or incorrect assessmentsand, <br /> <br />W1lliREAS the Village Clerk of said village has notified said property owners <br />by mail that a proposed reassessment and supplemental assessment hearing would be <br />held sometime duri ng 1960 after the Council had the opportunity of determining <br />such details and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Village Clerk of the Village has a list of all of the property <br />Owners in said Village affected and who have requested the opDortunity of <br />anpearing before the Council in a reassessment hearing to point out the nature <br />of their complaint and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS the minicipal attorney amTises that one or more parcels mayh~re <br />been incorrectly assessed and may be invalid and, <br /> <br />tVHEREAS several tracts of land upon which assessments ha,re heretofore been <br />l~Tied have subsequenty been platted and subdivided and apportionments must be <br />made therefore, <br />
