<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD SEPTEMBER 30, 1968 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of <br />the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was held <br />in the Village Hall in said Village on Monday, September 30, 1968, <br />at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: 1-1ayor Moll, Councilmen Curley, <br />Grauel, Linebarger and Shields <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Grauel introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4025 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey County Engineer and the Vi 11 age of Rosevi lle <br />have discussed the appropriateness of construction of County Road B-2 <br />from Snelling Avenue to Ham1ine Avenue to complete the connection of <br />County Road B-2 from the east frontage road of Interstate Highway 35W <br />to the west frontage road of Interstate Highway 35E; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the construction of County Road B-2 is essential to <br />the construction of the interchange of County Road B-2 and Snelling Avenue <br />by the Minnesota Highway Department which is also necessary for adequate <br />access to the Dayton Rosedale Center from Snelling Avenue and County Road <br />B-2 ; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the Ramsey County Engineer has proposed Ramsey County's <br />participation in the construction of this road segment in his 1969 Budget; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the uncertainty as to the construction of the Snelling <br />Avenue - County Road B-2 interchange was removed on September 27, 1968, by <br />the Minnesota Highway Department's receipt of bids on this project; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the scope of the County Road B-2 improvement makes <br />immediate initiation of construction mandatory to coincide with the <br />Minnesota Highway Department's construction of the Snelling Avenue - County <br />Road B-2 interchange; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the Village of Roseville has undertaken the preparation <br />of plans and specifications for this road segment to insure completion in <br />accordance with the time schedule of the Minnesota Hi~lway Department for <br />the completion of the Snelling Avenue - County Road B-2 interchange; <br />
