<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING
<br />OF CITY COUNCIL
<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE
<br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA

<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the city
<br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall
<br />on Monday, the thirteenth day of September, 1993, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
<br />
<br />The following members were present: P. Johnson, Cushman, Maschka, Goedeke,
<br />and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None.
<br />
<br />Councilmember Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its
<br />adoption:
<br />
<br />RESOLUTIONS NO. 8978
<br />
<br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CITY PROJECTS 93-10 and 93-20
<br />LINCOLN DRIVE AND COUNTY DITCH 4 IMPROVEMENTS
<br />
<br />Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according
<br />to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the
<br />Manager of said City, said bids were received on September 2, 1993, opened
<br />and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received
<br />complying with the advertisement:

<br />WHEREAS, it appears that Arnt Construction is the lowest responsible bidder
<br />at the base bid amount of $652,377.19 and add Alternate A in the bid amount
<br />of $30,277.50.
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City council of the City of
<br />Roseville, Minnesota:
<br />
<br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
<br />a contract with Arnt Construction for $652,377.19 for the base bid and
<br />$30,277.50 for Alternate A bid in the name of the city of Roseville fo
<br />the above improvements according to the plans and specifications
<br />thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the
<br />office of the City Manager.
<br />
<br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
<br />to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits
<br />of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
<br />until contracts have been signed.
