<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City <br />council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the city <br />Hall in said City on Monday, the twenty-seventh day of October, 1993, at <br />7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: P. Johnson, Cushman, Maschka, <br />Goedeke, and V. Johnson <br /> <br />And the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />councilperson Cushman introduced and moved the adoption of the following <br />resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8979 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON BOTH SIDES OF LINCOLN DRIVE <br />FROM COUNTY ROAD C-2 TO LYDIA AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lincoln Drive from County Road C-2 to Lydia Avenue is a <br />Municipal State Aid Street (M.S.A. No. S.A.P. 160-247-02); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such roadways must conform to established standards, including <br />the prohibition of parking on both sides for forty-eight foot wide <br />designs that are striped for two driving lanes in each direction. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that parking is hereby prohibited on <br />both sides of Lincoln Drive from County Road C-2 to Lydia Avenue <br />(M.S.A. No. S.A.P. 160-247-02), identified as Roseville Project No. <br />P-93-10, be adopted. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Public Works Director is hereby <br />authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this <br />resolution to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilperson Goedeke and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: P. Johnson, Cushman, Maschka, <br />Goedeke, and V. Johnson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
