LaBresh <br />Julie Overbye Lechy <br />Nito Quitevis <br />Board Member Doug Root arrived late. <br />Board Member Dan Kelsey was absent. <br />Call to Order <br />Chair Eckman called the Special Meeting of the Grass Lake Watershed Management <br />Organization to order at 5:00 p.m. <br />She stated that the purpose of a watershed management organization as found in Minn. Stat. <br />103B.255 and includes managing intercommunity storm water runoff; protecting and preserving <br />water resources; using natural surface retention; address water quality problems; identify, protect <br />and improve surface and ground water quality; establish uniform controls for surface water <br />management, erosion of soil in surface water systems; promote ground water recharge; enhance <br />fish and wildlife habitat; secure benefits with proper management of surface and ground water <br />and minimize public capital expenditures. <br />A) Organizational Items <br />A-1 Approval of Agenda <br />
