Chair Stark asked about loading at the County Road C site. Mr. Sobiech stated that it
appears similar to last year. More flow data is needed to determine what part of the load
at County Road C is coming from Dale Street.
Board Member Eckman asked if Lake Judy has been incorporated into the study.
Sobiech stated that would be done in September. He stated that once the study is
complete, there would be a public forum event, perhaps in March, 2009.
Chair Stark requested that the forum include Best Management Practices (BMPs)-their
cost and how they can be funded.
D-3 Communication with Lake Owasso Association and Other Association
Groups
Chair Stark reported that the Lake Owasso Association is informed of GLWMO meetings
and residents are welcome.
The Board discussed the public meeting in March, when Barr will report on the Lake
Owasso Study. Maloney suggested that the Open House format is usually successful with
no formal presentation. This creates anon-threatening, interactive meeting. Maps and
charts can be posted and technical experts can be on hand to answer questions. Mr. Maloney noted that Mayor Martin announced the
winners at the July 15 City Council meeting.
