GLWMO MEETING MINUTES -JANUARY 25, 2007
A-4 2007 Scheduled Meeting Dates
Meeting dates for 2007 were noted:
- January 25, 2007
- Apri126, 2007
- July 26, 2007
- October 25, 2007
It was the consensus of the members for pictures to be taken at the next regular meeting in April,
when Jim Stark and the new member from Roseville will be present.
B. Correspondence & General Information
B-1 Correspondence received since the October 26, 2006 meeting:
Maloney reported that city staff submitted comments for the Ramsey-Washington
Metro Watershed District draft Watershed Management Plan. DeZellar noted that
the 45-day review period has expired. It was the consensus of the Board to have
staff forward review period notices to Board members in the future in time for
members to submit comments.
Carstens stated that there will be a fina190-day review period for approval by
the Board of Water and Soil (BWSR). Notice will be posted on the Roseville
website, and members can submit comments at that time.
DeZellar asked what changes were made in the plan. Carstens responded that the
plan consists of two parts: 1) the executive summary of the program for the
district, and 2) technical data for the sub watersheds, water quality goals for each
of the lakes. There were no significant changes to the 10-year plan.
b. Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Extended General Permit #2001-
6111, Shoreline and Streambank Stabilization, Ramsey County.
City of Vadnais Heights, Well Protection Plan, Part 1, for the City of Vadnais
Heights, December 19, 2006.
B-2 Correspondence sent by GLWMO since the October 26, 2006 meeting:
1. Horseshoe Drive, Shoreview, in
response to requests in his letter of January 18, 2007.
Bloom stated that the same information sent by Shoreview will also be
sent from Roseville to Mr. Quitevis. Mogg (referring to the Watershed map)
noted Wetland No. 62-159, which has a large sediment delta, and asked if it is
scheduled for maintenance.
